On Tuesday 9th August we held the Ladies Championship (best gross score) and Wharton Cup (best nett score) over 36 holes.
The Championship was very close with only one shot in it. The winner was Jess with an 84+93=177 and runner-up was Dawn with an 89+89=178.
The Wharton Cup was won by Kathy with a nett score of 74+73=147. Runner up was Dawn with 75+75=150.
The Rita Wharton Challenge Trophy (most improved afternoon nett score) was won by Liz with a 10-shot improvement.
Well done to all the winners and to everyone who played in the Championship. 36 holes on a hot day is excellent going!
