Champion's Day 2024
Before the prize-giving ceremony, we hosted a Texas Scramble team event, which saw great participation and fierce competition. As always, the final scores were incredibly tight, showcasing the high standard of play across the board.
Winners: Paul Salmon, Chris Salmon, Andy White, and Lavy Moyse, with an impressive score of 49.25.
Runners-up: Mrs Gibbons, Wilf Gibbons, Frank Sheppard, and Mark Barnard, finishing close behind with 49.85.
Third Place: Alex Fellas, Jack Reeve, Ben Stocker, and Archie Smith, with a solid 51.65.
It was a thrilling event, and congratulations to everyone who took part!
Honouring Our Champions
During the prize-giving ceremony, Captain Blair Ainslie presented the trophies to our well-deserving winners. A highlight of the event was recognising the club’s Cullington team, who made it to the final of the Cullington Cup for the first time in the club’s history! This remarkable achievement reflects the talent and determination of the team, and it was fantastic to celebrate their success with the entire club.
A Day to Remember
The day was capped off with a buzzing atmosphere in the clubhouse. Members gathered not just to celebrate their successes but to share stories, laughter, and a collective love for the game. Congratulations to Iain Smith, who walked away with the top prize: a brand-new golf bag!
